Didactics were prepared by: Robert Nickel – ECHO Project Facilitator in Ukraine, Behavioral Pediatrician and Professor of Pediatrics at the Development Institute of Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon, USA.

We successfully held an ECHO training session dedicated to effective behavioral intervention strategies for preschoolers. Ukrainian and American experts shared practical recommendations on how to help children who demonstrate aggressive behavior through support from professionals and the family.

During the session, we considered:
🔹 Why children can show aggression and how the environment affects their behavior.
🔹 How to form a support team of parents, teachers and therapists.
🔹 What behavioral techniques help develop self-control skills in children.

Special attention was paid to the analysis of the case of a boy who shows aggression in kindergarten. Psychologist Alina Binkovska (Ivano-Frankivsk) shared her experience and suggested effective tactics for interacting with the family that help improve the child’s behavior.

The event was held within the framework of the international ECHO project with the participation of the University of New Mexico, the Center for Medical Sciences and the Precarpathian National University.
